Nike and U.S. Soccer refresh the national team kits
It’s that time of year again for Nike and U.S. Soccer’s annual refresh of national team jerseys.
Nike’s design teams used a prismatic technique to freshen the color pattern for each federation, infusing new vigor into the 2024 kit color direction. This year’s technique, dubbed “metaprism,” enhances conventional federation hues via the lens of light and movement. Each design took each federation’s color palette in a new direction while keeping the country’s artistic uniqueness.
The 2024 USA Home kit bears the nation’s timeless patriotism through a distinct red, white and blue graphic rib design on the collar and cuffs.
Inside the collar, a single star is accompanied by the inspirational message, “One Nation, One Team.”
The 2024 USA Away kit sees a return to the sash design first made famous by America’s footballing heroes of 1950, with a new gradient descending on multiple stripes.
The men’s federation kits, available in men’s, women’s, and kids’ sizes, will be available on Nike.com beginning March 21. The majority of the women’s federation kits, which are also available in men’s, women’s, and children’s sizes, will be available in stores in June, with some arriving earlier.
