Back on track. Following a heavy home defeat to Minnesota at the weekend, Atlanta United avoided a sixth loss on the bounce with a 3-0 win over USL side Charlotte Independence in the Open Cup round 4 on Tuesday.
With strong showings from Nick Firmino and young talents, along with a first start for keeper Josh Cohen in the starting XI, Atlanta looks to keep this momentum when they play D.C. United back at Mercedes Benz Stadium on May 11th. Our photographer Matt Dingle was on site just north of Atlanta with all of the scenes.
