San Diego Wave Unveils New Collection for 2024
San Diego Wave Fútbol Club released a new collection of kits last week, which are sure to bring a bright new energy to the field for the upcoming season.
The ‘Del Sol’ jersey will serve as the Wave’s home kit, aiming to make its debut on March 23rd against the KC Current. Conjuring up images of a classic San Diego sunset, the kit is inspired by the team’s shared horizon, where the ocean meets the sky. The bold orange, pink, and turquoise wave-like pattern accentuates the joy and energy found in San Diego, “America’s Finest City.” A hand-drawn “Wave FC” logo sits at the right hip, adding a personal touch to the kit.
Alongside the Del Sol jerseys are the away and pre-match kits. The ‘Ponderosa’ kit will serve as the team’s secondary jersey, featuring a bright and recognizable pink ombre representing the San Diego sunsets. The pre-match kits are inspired by the San Diego oceans, as wave-like patterns cascade down the shirt reminiscent of an incoming tide.
