Arsenal makes their annual summer trip to Los Angeles, this time taking on Manchester United in a friendly at SoFi Stadium. Pitchside Collective member Cam Moon was on location to capture the match through his lens.

Here is Cam’s take on his experience shooting the match:

“Being a fan of a major team in the U.S. can feel like distant at times; you learn the songs, you know the players new and old, but you don’t have the same connection to them when you’ve never seen them before.

Last year, I saw The Arsenal against Barcelona and after years of watching from afar, I finally had that in person connection. This year, shooting from the field was almost spiritual. Being preseason, not every star is going to play or is even with the team, but I knew I wanted shots of captain Martin Odegaard and the man himself, Mikel Arteta.
