GOALZ’ Nations League Watch Party: A Celebration Of Soccer, Music, And Fashion
You know what makes a damn perfect combination? Soccer, music, and fashion. Last Thursday, Beautiful Game Presents did a kickoff of GOALZ that was hosted by The Marlay House in collaboration with Soccer in the Streets, The Beautiful Game Project, Adidas, and Forty-One Magazine. It was a kickoff for a good cause as the event benefitted Soccer in the Streets and the Beautiful Game Project.
GOALZ is no ordinary soccer experience. The event brings together live music, fashion, and soccer in a unique way. There were endless forms of entertainment that made it a night to remember! There was an EAFC station where players could test their skills against each other in matches. Kerri Worthen created custom art pieces for beautiful art installations; a Tifo designed as an ode to Atlanta and football culture for the Adidas Fútbol Society by Verations was also on display. Additionally, there was a signed adidas soccer ball and jersey installation by Grace Henderson on display that helped bring the event to life.
A fashion show took place as event attendants showed off their soccer fashion in style while wearing kits such as the classic Brazilian R9 kit and the elegant Pirlo AC Milan kit. The winner of the fashion competition received one of the greatest kits out there, the Bob Marley “Three Little Birds” Ajax kit. Giveaways also took place as winners received a signed Atlanta United jersey and a $100 gift card from World Soccer Shop!
The fun didn’t stop there. The U.S. Men’s national team’s match against Panama was streamed on the big screen for everyone to see. Everyone at the event was in shock as they witnessed Panama achieve an upset against the United States.
Live musical performances ended off the special night as Grammy award winning artist Jontavious Willis’s blues band live performance and Eastern Standard’s reggae live performance electrified the crowd and got them up on their feet. Producer & Artist, Swanky, DJ’d and kept the good vibes going all night.
This is only the start for the Beautiful Game Presents’s GOALZ events as they look to continue providing an experience to soccer fans like no other!
