Adidas and Jamaica have just released a new LFSTLR capsule that commemorates one of the country’s greatest football successes.
The collection, which coincides with the world-renowned Notting Hill Carnival, includes essential living items with a Jamrock twist. The capsule’s standout piece is a black retro-style tracksuit with green and yellow chevron accents on the sleeves and legs. The Jamaican flag-colored accents appear on a hoodie, T-shirt, and matching shorts, with the JFF emblem completing each design.
The new LFSTLR jersey, inspired by ’90s kits, is unquestionably the collection’s standout piece. The shirt comes in a sleek, slick black colorway with the adidas trefoil softly printed throughout. The shoulders are decorated with adidas’ characteristic stripes, which are yellow and accented in green.
A flat-knit polo collar pays homage to Jamaica’s iconic jerseys from the 1998 World Cup, bringing the vintage style back for a new era. It is worn by Jamaican dancehall star Shenseea, who teams up with the Three Stripes for the second time to celebrate her country’s rich cultural heritage on and off the pitch.
The new JFF collection is available to purchase now on the adidas website and select retailers.
