Reigning NWSL Champs Gotham FC Kick Off Season with New Kits
NJ/NY Gotham FC look forward to defend their NWSL championship for the 2024 season, and they will have brand new kits to do so. As part of Nike’s league-wide reset, Gotham FC will debut their new primary and secondary kits as they take on San Diego Wave for the NWSL Challenge Cup on March 15th.
For the primary kit, the club keeps its black and Gotham blue color scheme and includes a black sash that represents the Hudson River that lies between the club’s shared hometowns of New York and New Jersey. Overall the kit pays tribute to the NYC skyline, and includes a new gold star above the crest – signifying their NWSL championship victory over Seattle Reign.
For the secondary kit, Gotham FC introduce a subtle, light-teal look that becomes deeper further down the jersey, and is completed with blue shorts. The team showcased the secondary kits during a preseason tournament victory against Racing Louisville.
