Pitchside: Houston Dash v Orlando Pride

We ventured Pitchside over to the NSWL back in August, which had just resumed play after the 2024 Summer Olympics and the USWNT’s victory. There, players such as Jane Campbell, Michelle Alozie, Adriana, and Marta (coming off of her retirement with the Brazil national team), were honored before the Houston Dash took on the league leading Orlando Pride. In a tight affair, Summer Yates’ lone goal was all the difference for Orlando, extending their then-unbeaten streak to a record 18 games. Forty-One writer and photographer Dela Acolatse was there to capture it all on film.
