Major League Soccer announced today the launch of a capsule collaboration with streetwear brand STAPLE, created by creative genius Jeff Staple, ahead of the highly anticipated 2023 MLS Cup presented by Audi on Saturday, December 9 at 4 p.m. EST.
“We are thrilled to have a renowned streetwear brand like STAPLE along for the ride for what will mark the end of another exciting season in Major League Soccer,” said Rachel Hoagland, MLS SVP of Consumer Products. “This special collection is the latest evolution of the League’s commitment to spotlighting the creativity in our sport and connecting soccer with progressive fashion offerings.”
The collaboration will include two t-shirts, a hoodie, a crewneck sweatshirt, and a rugby polo, as well as accessories such as a cap and scarf, and will be the first time fans will be able to wear MLS Cup themed attire.
The collection, which ranges in price from $35 to $160, is inspired by classic soccer graphics and the renowned Phillip F. Anschutz trophy, which is awarded to every MLS Cup-winning club. The silver, gold, and black color scheme of the trophy is used across the apparel and accessories range.
All MLS Cup x STAPLE collection goods are available for purchase on staplepigeon.com, as well as select items at mlsstore.com and the Crew Shop at Lower.com Field in Columbus.
