Another week, another critical matchup in the Eastern Conference. On Saturday, Atlanta United hosted Cincinnati FC in a must win match for both teams, with traction over the rest of the east on the line. Much to the Five Stripes dismay, the away side left with all 3 points after a quick response to going 1-0 down.
Forward Luciano Acosta provided with both a goal and an assist, closing out the night 2-1 to FC Cincinnati. Atlanta now looks to their next match away from home, attempting to avoid disaster early on in the season. Our photographer Matt Dingle was there to capture the drama.
