LOVER’S F.C. X Y.M.C. KIT
“Where Football and Streetwear collide.” It is an ethos we at KTTP live and breathe. It is also the Instagram bio for Lover’s F.C., the brainchild of Neal Heard, the same dude that brought us ‘A Lover’s guide to Football Shirts’ and ‘Trainers- A Lovers Guide.’ His latest endeavor, Lover’s F.C. is taking that aforementioned Insta quote and manifesting it into fresh soccer inspired garb
The debut collection is made up soccer kits influenced by 80’s and early 90’s on-pitch aesthetic. The kit below first appeared in Y.M.C.’s recent AW London Fashion Week show. From the v-neck to the bold Y.M.C. sponsor branding, to that busy maze print, the jersey radiates a clever early 90’s panache.
As for the rest of the collection, little else is known aside from a launch event, in conjunction with Urban Outfitters is set for the coming weeks. For now keep it locked to Lover’s F.C.’s Instagram page as that seems to be their main source for updates.
