Today, adidas unveils the new Predator 30, a special edition pack commemorating three decades of innovation for football’s most renowned boot series. First released in 1994, Predator reinvented an entire industry and forever impacted sport and its culture.
The Predator 30 resurrects one of the boot’s most recognized elements from previous generations, the Foldover Tongue, with an altogether new shape that hints at the franchise’s future.
The design of the Predator 30 pays homage to the franchise’s heritage, including the famous Predator ‘Eyes’ insignia, which appears on the underside of the tongue.
The colorway is inspired by the basic red, black, and white of previous generations, but with a more lux burgundy to commemorate the franchise’s 30-year history. Only 1994 pairs will be available, honoring the initial Predator boot’s debut year. Each pair comes in a luxury presentation box with a commemorative gold plaque depicting some of history’s most popular Predators.
On November 29th, Jude Bellingham wore the Predator 30 for the first time on the pitch while playing for Real Madrid against Napoli in the UEFA Champions LeagueTM.
Pre-orders for the Predator 30 open today, and the boots go on sale from 8th December priced from $380, via adidas.com football boots, and selected adidas stores and retailers.
