A FIRST EVER HOME OPENER STRAIGHT OUT OF A MOVIE
The day was long awaited and ACFC didn’t disappoint both on and off the pitch. From a packed house, to celebrity guests, to a big W… Angel City got things going in a way fitting for the Hollywood.
Leading up to the day we had the opportunity to attend training, and immerse ourselves in everything ACFC. Along with that we were able to film a documentary on ACFC defender and Jamaican International, Allyson Swaby. By the time game time came around we felt almost as much anticipation as the players.
The game did not disappoint with ACFC coming away with the win. Not only did the players show up on the pitch the fans showed up in the stands. It was a win for them too and win all around for the organization and for women’s sports in LA. “The Banc” is not just home to LAFC, they now have formidable and roommates.
